I took these for a French bakery that I visit on a regular basis. It's a small local place up in Harlem called "Samba" bakery. The pastries are fantastic! I offered to take some pictures for the owner because I like going there.

A couple years back I had a shoot for a Sushi Bar. the owner was very into B+W photographs. Very difficult, so of course my assistant and I had to eat lots of props. 3-4 hours later Chef Sonny said maybe we should shoot a main course. We forced ourselves to shoot and eat an order of Mango Shrimp and Chicken. Also did Mary's Portuguese Sweet Bread also very tasty. http://www.maryssweetbread.com/marys_story.htm
