Bah Bah White Sheep

.

Model: Jane
Make Up: Lauren Weber

I just had fun with this one. It's silly and bizarre and that's what I wanted. I'm always amazed at how different I get Jane to look (with the help of Lauren). She seems to transform in front of the camera. This pose seemed to work the best with the setup and feel. We tried a few others but always went back to this so I didn't get a big variety of shots. I do have some others I may post later though. The wig by the way looked exactly like the pink clown wig I posted below. I painted, cut and groomed it into place, then added the purple ribbon to match the dress and background. The main thing was working with the colors I had in mind. I love working with color.

Model: Kristen Drewski

It's been a while..... honestly I've been feeling completely uninspired. Plus I've been going through a "I hate photography phase".....

I finally after months had another shoot and only because it was a commission. Because I was in such a funk I almost didn't accept but now I'm glad I did because I had a good time. I loved how pale her actual skin was. If you're familiar with my work then you know how much I like pale skin. I asked her to look sad and she actually shed a tear! When I saw that I was so happy,..... is that wrong? :) She wanted a nightmare/dream/dark.... theme and well, this is what I came up with. As always I had no time to prepare and did everything the day of the shoot. It was a crazy morning spent looking for stuff I wanted to use, cutting out those damn stars and picking cloths for the outfit. I wonder if I'll ever give myself enough time to not have to do everything the day of the shoot. Lauren Weber did the make up and was her usual fantastic self.

Italian "MAG" article

Italians like me! I got a short article and 6 page spread in the Italian art and music magazine "MAG (azine)". They contacted me back in January, the issue just came out. It's always interesting to me to see which images magazines choose to print. Big thank you to the models !(credits below images)

Kult Magazine

The Italian (Milan) based "Kult Magazine" contacted me a few months ago about doing a one page spread on my photography. I was pretty psyched to see the result in this months issue. It's a magazine focusing on fashion and art.

Model Credits: My cousin Phil, Adya, Cassandra and Nikki (thanks guys!)
